90 in a 55 is about the instinct to test our limits—and sometimes the limits the world places around us.
As children, we are constantly being told where the boundaries are: how fast to go, how far to wander, how high to climb, and when to stop. But curiosity often pushes us beyond those boundaries. We want to know what happens when we go faster, reach farther, and ignore the sign telling us to slow down.
The racing helmet represents both that desire for speed and the protection needed when challenging limits. There is excitement in pushing forward, but also vulnerability. Growth often happens somewhere between the two.
For Black children, the idea of limits can carry another meaning. Some boundaries are meant to protect us; others are imposed by a world that has already decided how far it expects us to go. Part of growing up is learning the difference.
90 in a 55 celebrates that fearless impulse to find out for yourself.
Yeah, we will test our limits—and the world's limits too.
