A BIG SWING
2026
Acrylic Medium Base
42 × 49 in
A Big Swing celebrates the optimism of childhood—the ability to dream beyond life's obstacles. As a young boy prepares his swing, birds rise overhead while alligators emerge quietly from the grass, symbolizing the roadblocks we all encounter on the path toward our ambitions. Rooted in Haitian symbolism, the work reflects on resilience, hope, and the belief that progress begins with the willingness to take the first swing.
