Driven is about focus, determination, and the belief that a child’s imagination can become a destination. The young Black boy looks directly at the viewer from beneath an oversized racing helmet, his expression serious and unwavering. The bold Hot Wheels lettering connects the image to childhood play—the simple fantasy of speed, racing, and being behind the wheel—while also becoming a metaphor for ambition and forward movement. Haitian-inspired peppers, stars, markings, and layered textures surround him, connecting that ambition to culture and identity. Driven captures the moment when play begins to reveal something deeper: the dreams children rehearse in their imagination can become the lives they eventually pursue.
