Summer With Bubbles is inspired by one of the simplest joys of childhood. I always loved how magical and fleeting bubbles are. For a brief moment they catch the light, reflect the world around them, and seem almost impossible, before disappearing as quickly as they arrived. That delicate balance between wonder and impermanence has stayed with me ever since. The young girl, absorbed in the quiet act of blowing a single bubble, reminds us that children have an extraordinary ability to find joy in the smallest moments. Her closed eyes suggest complete presence, while the oversized bubble becomes a symbol of imagination, hope, and the fragile beauty of childhood itself. Haitian-inspired peppers woven into her dress root the memory in my own cultural experience, connecting everyday play to identity and belonging. Summer With Bubbles is a meditation on the fleeting nature of childhood. Like a bubble drifting through warm summer air, those moments of innocence, curiosity, and wonder are beautiful precisely because they cannot last forever.
